The LIBRE Initiative Launches Youth Outreach Program With the Live LIBRE Video Contest

(Washington, DC) The LIBRE Initiative (LIBRE) isproud to launch a unique youth outreach program dedicated to promoting economicfreedom to the nation’s growing Latino youth. The outreach program kicks offwith the “Live LIBRE” youth video contest, a nationwide search for the bestvideo that explains how economic freedom benefits the U.S. Hispanic community.Participants between the ages of 18 -26 are encouraged to enter for the chanceto win an iPad 3.

“TheLIBRE Youth Initiative is meant to empower our country’s youth by teaching themprinciples of economic freedom early in their lives,” said LIBRE’s ExecutiveDirector, Daniel Garza. “We all want to prosper, but you can’t get therewithout protecting our economic liberties. The ‘Live LIBRE’ video contestchallenges you to think and to act by learning more about how you cancontribute to a free economy for a more prosperous life and nation overall.”

LIBRE iscommitted to advancing the message of economic freedom to youth in Hispaniccommunities across the country. Submissions for the ‘Live LIBRE’ Video Contestwill be accepted from July 16th through August 16th. All videos must meetcertain eligibility criteria.

Twowinning entries will be announced on September 12th. One winner will bedetermined by the highest number of YouTube views, and the second winner willbe chosen by a panel of judges based on creativity, production quality, andcontent. The winning video entries will be featured on the LIBRE website and atupcoming LIBRE regional events to motivate and inspire other youth around thecountry.
